Healing a Past Life in Poverty: A Guided Meditation

Find peace and release limiting beliefs with this powerful visualization exercise.

If you agree that other lifetimes may affect your present life, you may find yourself struggling with poverty or a lack of abundance due to a past life experience. This of course is many-layered, as shamanic healing often is, however, this can be something to explore on a soul-healing journey.

To help you heal from this past life, you can use this recorded guided meditation for healing a past life in poverty. By using this meditation, you can integrate and heal the past, release any limiting beliefs or fears, and move forward in your current life with abundance and prosperity.

Healing a Past Life in Poverty Shamanic Journey

Here's how to do it:

Before You Begin

1. Use headphones to create a distraction-free listening experience and attune to the vibration and energy in the meditation.

2. Ground yourself before listening by doing a grounding visualization, taking a bath, or listening to grounding music. Then clear your energy by using an aura-clearing visualization, taking a shower, going on a walk, or using clearing herbs.

3. Guide yourself through the meditation 2x a week for the first 2 weeks, then 1x a week for 3 weeks, and then 1x a month for 2 months. The more you listen, the more you may derive from it.

A note on seeing different lifetimes each time. If you are seeing different lives each time you do the meditation, this is completely normal. We often have more than one past life impacted by poverty in need of healing at this time. Allow what happens to happen, and know that what you experience is what is needed at this time.

After You Finish

This meditation guides you through a series of more intensive shamanic and spiritual healing practices, namely, past life regression, soul retrieval, integration, healing, and a karmic clearing. Because of this, be sure to take care of yourself after! Shamanism is often called spiritual surgery and can be intense in the days and weeks after. Whenever you do intensely deep spiritual work, the recovery process is much like that of surgery, you’ll need to give your body time to rest, absorb and recuperate from the reintegration.

After the first time you listen, perform a Welcoming Ceremony in a week or so following the meditation to intentionally welcome back the soul fragment of yourself that you retrieved during the meditation. This is part of the process of integration and reblending of your energy. It can be as simple as a welcome letter you write, but some like to create an offering for this soul fragment. Do something for yourself that shows you value yourself - make yourself a meal when you normally wouldn't, or otherwise take time to show yourself that you are valued.

Rest after each meditation and make sure to increase your water intake to help the energy-healing process. Be aware of low energy rising and any doubts, thoughts, or patterns of poverty that may arise. Release them as best you can to solidify the new pattern of abundance in your life.

Whether you've already done the prior meditation already or simply want to try the next step, you can also try the below guided visualization to help you further release the burdens you've carried from this or these other lifetimes.

If you would like to do this meditation along with shamanic drumming, read the meditation first, then listen to this 10-minute drumming track

Releasing Trauma of a Past Life in Poverty Meditation

Step 1.
Find a quiet, comfortable place where you won't be disturbed. Sit or lie down in a comfortable position, close your eyes, and take a few deep breaths.

Step 2.
Imagine yourself standing at the entrance of a dark tunnel. This tunnel represents the past life where you experienced poverty. Take a moment to acknowledge any fear or discomfort you may be feeling, and remind yourself that you are safe and protected.

Step 3.
When you're ready, step into the tunnel and begin to walk forward. As you walk, notice any sensations in your body and any thoughts or emotions that come up. Allow them to be there without judgment or resistance.

As you continue to walk, you begin to see a light up ahead. Keep walking towards the light, allowing it to grow brighter and brighter until it surrounds you.

Step 4.
As you bask in the light, imagine yourself being showered with healing energy. Visualize this energy washing away any pain, trauma, or limiting beliefs associated with your past life in poverty.

Take a moment to offer gratitude to God, the Universe, your Higher Self, or any spirit guides who have assisted with the release of this energy.

Step 5.
When you're ready, take a deep breath and begin to come back to your body in the present moment. Allow yourself to integrate the healing energy into your body and take any insights or lessons with you as you continue on your journey.

When you're ready, slowly open your eyes and take a moment to ground yourself in the present moment. You may want to journal or reflect on any insights or emotions that came up during the meditation. Remember to be gentle with yourself as you continue on your healing journey.

With these two meditations, you can take steps to release these past lives and the space they may be holding, preventing you from moving forward to create a new pattern of abundance and prosperity in your current life.

Enjoy!
